You can connect the speakers to either the top or bottom terminal.

Description:

The DJP Reference Series are high-end floorstanding speakers with high-quality speaker drivers and a slim, elegant design! With their powerful Dayton Audio speakers and an output of 180 Watts RMS per speaker, they offer plenty of power even for higher volumes and are a real visual highlight in any living room or party room! Thanks to the very high-resolution highs, mids, and soft bass, they can be used universally, whether for parties, stereo systems, or as TV speakers. They feature a bi-wiring connection terminal that allows separate control of the two 6.5-inch woofer speakers (lower connection) and the mid and high-frequency range (upper connection). To do this, you only need to remove the two connection bridges on the terminal (absolutely necessary if you want to connect a multi-channel amplifier or 2 stereo amplifiers)! This enables perfect tuning between the bass and mid-high range and provides an excellent sound experience.
If you want to operate the speakers normally with a 2-channel stereo amplifier in a 3-way system, it does not matter whether you use the upper or lower connection.
